Filmography
He came to America from Ireland when he was twenty-one. He had a death-warrant on his head
for killing an English landlord's rent agent after the agent insulted him about The Battle
of the Boyne, a battle fought over a hundred years earlier between the English and the Irish.
He joined his older brothers, James and Andrew, who had came to America to live in Savannah
years earlier when there had been a discovery of a small arsenal of rifles under the O'Hara pigsty.
He was 5' 4 1/2 inches tall, loud-mouthed and bull-headed. He had a hot temper, a good head
for reading and math, and a shrewd ability to bargain. He won a valet named Pork and a plantation
named Tara
in an all-night poker game. He managed to marry a beautiful
young girl named Ellen Robillard and they had three daughters that lived
and three sons that died as infants.
